Who says that California has to be the only state where ex-rockers run for office? While Sonny Bono won a seat in Congress in 1994 and TSOL frontman Jack Grisham was in the mix for the recent Gubernatorial recall election, if you live in the state of Washington, you may just get your opportunity to vote a rocker into office yourselves. Ex-Nirvana bassist Krist Novaselic, who has been rising through the Democratic circles in Washington for years, has said he may run for the post of Lt. Governor in 2004. He has not yet decided, though, as he does not want to run against fellow Democrat Brad Owen. However, Novoselic also doesnít know if he wants to wait until 2006 or 2008 to get involved, so he has been consulting Democratic Party officials and is in the midst of formulating a plan. As always, more news as it becomes available.
