Rap mogul Jay-Z may be hanging up his mic momentarily, but it seems he already knows what he wants his next career move to be. According to ESPN and MTV, Jay-Z wants to be spending way more time with Jason Kidd, Kenyon Martin, Alonzo Mourning, Kerry Kittles and the rest of the New Jersey Nets. But not on the court. Oh, no. Jay-Z wants to buy the team! While the hip-hop legend, who just dropped his ninth studio record, The Black Album, and YankeeNets, the current Nets ownership, are declining comment, Jay-Z has reportedly hired a financial firm to look into what it would take to make the Nets his. Add that to the rumor that P-Diddy wants to buy the New York Knicks and owners meetings sure would be a whole lot more interesting.
