Melissa Auf Der Maur Jumps Onto 2004 Release Schedule

As the year winds down, more information comes out about next yearís release schedule. Time to add one more name to that list. Melissa Auf Der Maur will release her debut solo album in 2004. The ex-Smashing Pumpkin and Hole bass player will drop her self-titled debut on February 2 worldwide and on May 4 in the US and has gotten some ex-bandmates and other rockers to join her on her quest. Featuring on her album are ex-Pumpkin axeman James Iha, ex-Hole guitarist Eric Erlandson and Queens Of The Stone Age leader Josh Homme.. The recording process of the album, which will drop on Capitol, took over two years but the tracks were written over the past 10 years. Time well spent, we'll hope!
