Rodney On The Roq Film Soundtrack Features Bowie, Chris Martin





On March 16, the soundtrack to the documentary film Mayor Of The Sunset Strip, which features songs from David Bowie, Brian Wilson, and Chris Martin, will hit shelves via Shout! Factory. According to Billboard, the film is scheduled to hit theaters a little over a week later, on March 26. Directed by George Hickenlooper, Mayor Of The Sunset Strip follows the career of KROQ's Rodney "On The Roq" Bingenheimer, who has been breaking new acts on his show for years. Some of the more notable tracks include Brian Wilson's "Rodney On The Roq," a previously unreleased 1971 recording of "All The Madmen" by Bowie, and a yet-to-be determined in-studio performance by Coldplay's Martin.
