The 2003 Tripwire Readers' Top 25 Poll Results Are In!

The results are in and you have spoken. The 2003 Tripwire Year-End Poll has a new king and they go by the name of The Postal Service. The collaboration between Death Cab For Cutieís Ben Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello of Dntel warmed the most hearts this year, easily pipping stellar efforts from OutKast and The White Stripes to take the album of the year honors. Excellent records from Radiohead, Mars Volta, The Shins, The Strokes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Broken Social Scene, and Fountains Of Wayne rounded out the top 10. Thanks to everyone who voted and weíd like to congratulate Erin Smith of Lookout! Records who was the magic mystery winner and now receives a gift pack of the top 25 albums. Congrats to The Postal Service and Ms. Smith and big ups to the labels of the top 25 winners who have so graciously donated copies of their albums for the giveaways.
