Sandler, Barrymore, & '80 Music Back Together In 50 First Dates

Leave it to Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore to star in a movie with an ë80s music-based soundtrack. Following in the footsteps of the raging success of The Wedding Singer and its two-part soundtrack, Sandler & Barrymoreís new vehicle, 50 First Dates will feature a load of ë80s songs with a twist: theyíre all cover versions. Current artists like Wyclef Jean, Seal, Will.I.Am and Fergie from Black Eyed Peas, Mark McGrath and UB40 are rocking their own takes on classic jams from The Cure, The Psychedelic Furs, Spandau Ballet, The Cars, and, uh, The Outfield, just to name a few. The movie will hit screens on February 13, while the soundtrack CD beats it to the marketplace, landing in stores via Maverick on February 3.
