Tuesday Express-Albums By Sasha, Felix Da Housecat; Oasis Man Out?

World-renowned DJ Sasha, fresh off his New Yearís Eve deck-wrecking extravaganza in NYC (and simulcast in Los Angeles), is about three-fifths through completing a new mix CD for Global Underground. Unlike past mix CD efforts, however, this time Sasha has roped in his electronic music mates and asked for pieces of new music. Chemical Brothers, Junkie XL, and Underworld are all amongst the artists who donated new parts of songs for Sasha to mix and rejig. Expect to see the CD on shelves in May.

Chicago electronic pioneer Felix Da Housecat is just about to cough up another fur ball of beat-laden electronic mayhem. The new work, his first since 2002ís stellar electroclash cornerstone Kittenz & The Glitz, is entitled Devin Dazzle And The Neon Fever. 15-tracks of shimmering goodness, the record will drop on Emperor Norton in May, so warm up your dancing shoes and your tight pants as itís gonna be ass shaking time.

Is there further turmoil in the Oasis camp? Rumors are being heard that drummer Alan White may be leaving the band. A member since 1996, when he replaced founding drummer Tony McCarroll, White is said to be battling chronic tendonitis, which may hasten his exit from the UK giants. More news as it becomes available.
