Radio 4's Astralwerks Debut Underway In NYC

New York City's ass shakinest rock band, Radio 4, are currently holed up in an NYC studio with producer Max Heyes (Primal Scream, Doves), hard at work on their Astralwerks debut. The yet-to-be titled album is scheduled for a late spring release, according to a band representative. "The inspirations influencing this batch of songs is far wider than heard on Gotham," said vocalist/bassist Anthony Roman. "We've been playing some of these songs live for a while now and they've grown and grown, but the way this band works means it's hard to tell what's going to happen. We've always made as much use of the studio as we can, and this time will be no different. The lyrics will address some serious topics; it's an election year." Radio 4 will be touring in March, making appearances at both Winter Music Conference and SXSW. There's some more good news from Radio 4 camp as well. The band's "Dance To The Underground" has been picked for the newest national Mitsubishi spot. Look for it to begin airing this month!
