Land, Air, Sea

Not often you trip across a person who is in one quality band, much less two. But for Pat Wilson, heís managed to be the dude in Weezer and start his own project on the side, The Special Goodness. Along with partner-in-crime Atom Willard, the ex-Rocket From The Crypt man, Wilson steps from behind the kit and pens catchy indie gems. Donít let the bandís label of Epitaph fool you, however; this isnít your older brotherís punk rock. This is melodic indiecore, and a pretty damn good rendition. ìLife Goes Byî shimmers, ìDay In The Autumnî chimes and ìN.F.A.î proves the Goodness boys ìarenít fucking around.î Fucking around they may not be, but writing hooky tunes that arenít weighed down by heavy production theyíve got covered in spades. They may have a tune called ìOopsî and another called ìPardon Me,î but Land Air Sea is not a mistake and requires no apologies. Except from crap band who canít craft tunes like the Special Goodness.
