With Oasis having kicked drummer Alan White to the curb, the rumor mill has been spinning out of control. Will Noel Gallagher just play drums on the album, like he has done on select tracks in the past and like he does for his side project Tailgunner? Perhaps theyíll just get a session drummer and get the record out before dealing with lining up a replacement? But todayís rumor is the juiciest by far. Unofficial word out of the UK has Oasis opening up their drum stool to none other than Zak Starkey, the son of Ringo Starr and the sticksman who has played behind the kit for The Who, Johnny Marr & The Healers, Icicle Works, and The Lightning Seeds, amongst others. And what could be better for Oasis than having Beatles bloodline finally in their band? Will this rumor come to fruition? Weíll soon find out.
