Lord Of The Rings, Mystic River Win At Golden Globes





If the Golden Globes are indeed the precursor to the Academy Awards, prepare for it to be all Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King, all the time. The epic trilogy finale won four awards at last nightís 61st Annual Golden Globes, including Best Drama, Best Director, while the acting nods went to Charlize Theron for her part in Monster, Diane Keaton in Somethingís Got To Give, Bill Murray for Lost In Translation and Renee Zellweger in Cold Mountain. Mystic River was the big winner in the dramatic acting category, as both Sean Penn and Tim Robbins were victorious. On the TV side, it was all about 24, The Office, and HBOís Angels In America, the latter in a big way, as it took home a whopping five Golden Globes, as voted on by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
