Dave Holland, former drummer of Judas Priest, was convicted on Friday (Jan 23) of the attempted rape of a learning-disabled teenager. BBC news and the AP report that Holland was found guilty on five counts of indecent assault against the teen and is currently being held in custody until sentencing. The boy, who's name was not released because of legal reasons, was a drum student of Holland's and, a la Michael Jackson, his parents allowed him to stay overnight at the star's house several times. It wasn't until the boy wrote a letter to his parents revealing the abuse, that action was taken against the 55-year-old Holland.
1988's Ram It Down was Holland's last album with Judas Priest before retiring from the band.
