With the Noise Pop festival practically taking place in their own back yard, Bay Area rockers The Heavenly States just had to take part. So before they sit down to record a new EP at the beginning of March, the band will spend the night at San Francisco's Bottom Of The Hill as part of the Noise Pop festivities. Then on March 1, The Heavenly States will kick off a quick 8-date tour that will begin in Chicago and work its way down to Austin, TX, on the 17th for SXSW.
The Heavenly States have signed on with Baria Records in Australia, who have already prepped the release of the band's self-titled album with a single release of "Beyond The Great Beyond." The full length will hit shelves down under to coincide with the band's April trek to Australia.
The band was also recently courted by and eventually signed a publishing deal with Blue Mountain Group (U2) for all of Europe, a deal which actually came about when a Blue Mountain rep heard a Heavenly States song via the Tripwire Daily Newsletter.
