Wilco Spawn Supernatural Apparition

Chicago-based, veteran rock outfit Wilco have announced some solid details surrounding the release of their highly anticipated follow-up to 2002's Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. According to Billboard, the new album has been dubbed A Ghost Is Born and it's been slated for release on June 8 via Nonesuch Records. Jeff Tweedy and company are currently at London's storied Abbey Road Studios mastering the new record.

A Ghost Is Born was recorded in New York with Sonic Youth's Jim O'Rourke behind the boards. A full tour in support of the new record is in the works, but as of yet, only a few warm-up dates are confirmed leading up to Wilco's appearances at the Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival in Indio, CA, and Bonnaroo in Manchester, TN.
