Preston School Of Industry Cancel Classes, Hit The Road

Having just dropped their sophomore album, Monsoon, former Pavementeer Scott "Spiral Stairs" Kannberg and the rest of his Preston School Of Industry gang have announced a forthcoming North American tour. They'll kick things off with a performance at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco as part of the Noise Pop festival. They'll then crisscross the country, hitting the South and East Coast before wrapping things up at the cozy little neighborhood bar, Schubas, in Chicago. The band will be making a notable appearance down in Austin for SXSW as part of the Matador Records showcase along with Mission of Burma and Pretty Girls Make Graves. If you're in Austin, and I suspect many of you will be, make sure to stop by.
