Beck Contributes To Gondry Film Soundtrack





Rock & roll chameleon Beck has teamed up with producer/songwriter Jon Brion on a song for the forthcoming soundtrack to the film Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind. The track is a cover is of the 1980 Korgis tune "Everybody's Gotta Learn Sometime." Other contributors to the soundtrack, which will be released on March 16 through Hollywood Records, include the Polyphonic Spree and Electric Light Orchestra. Brion, who scored the entire film, also asked beck to contribute vocals to a new version of his "Sometime."


According to Billboard, other Brion songs like "Collecting Things" and "Sidewalk Fight" accompany E.L.O.'s "Mr. Blue Sky," Polyphonic Spree's "Light And Day" and a live version of the latter's "It's The Sun."

Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind was directed by Michel Gondry and stars Jim Carrey, Kate Winslet, Elijah Wood and Kirsten Dunst. The film will open in theaters on March 19.
