As was first brought to you on the Tripwire.com over a month ago, Oasis are looking to replace departed drummer Alan White with Zak Starkey. NME.com is reporting that Starkey, also known as Ringo Starrís son, who has played behind the kit for Johnny Marr and The Who amongst others, is set to be the newest member of Oasis. The Beatles bloodline that the brothers Gallagher have always yearned for is now in place in their band. With a new album on the way and production changes being made this week, it looks like the Oasis recording machine is finally accelerating into a higher gear. About time, boys.
