Back in 2001, Joe Strummer and filmmaker Dick Rude started filming Strummer as a way to help promote Joeís record at the time, Global A Go-Go. Now, that movie is going to be released as a stand-alone Strummer tribute, Letís Rock Again. Live performances, behind the scenes action and some of the daily grind will all be included in the movie. Among the aspects that can be viewed are live shows in Japan, where the crowd goes absolutely mental for the ex-Clash man, as well as quieter moments off stage featuring Strummer and Rude. The film will make its debut next month at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.
