Cat Power Adds West Coast Jaunt To Calendar

The enigma that is Cat Power, a.k.a. Chan Marshall is warming up the tour bus. Marshall, whose albums are always feted in the press and whose live shows tend to be rather hit or miss affairs, will play a set of West Coast dates in May. With last yearís You Are Free as the most recent release, Marshall has been concentrating on playing live and May is no exception. Tucson will host the first night of the short tour, with West Hollywood getting a pair of dates on May 23 and 24, followed by a pair in The City By The Bay on the next two days, before wrapping up at the Gorge in George, WA, on May 29 at the Sasquatch Festival. Personally, I feel the stop in Pioneertown, CA, at Pappy & Harrietís Palace will be the best show of the tour, but you never know. Time to hit MapquestÖ
