Lollapalooza 2004 is slowly taking shape. As we previously reported, Lollapalooza this year will be a two-day event, with Morrissey headlining one night and String Cheese Incident the other, and acts like Sonic Youth, Modest Mouse, Polyphonic Spree and Flaming Lips playing in between. Finally, though, more bands are being announced. On board for the Perry Ferrell-masterminded festival are Gomez and BRMC. The dates are still not in stone and the rest of the bands have yet to be announced, but stay tuned for further updates.
Another festival update for todayís Tripwire. This yearís Move Festival, which is held yearly over a four-day span, July 8-11, at the Lancashire Cricket Ground in Manchester, has quite the power-packed lineup. On board as headliners this year are Morrissey, The Cure, Madness and Stereophonics, with Ocean Colour Scene, Pixies and Elbow currently singed up on the undercard. With so many good UK festivals from June through August, we should all just take those months off and take a vacation in the UK. Iím up for itÖ
