Zero 7 Returns To The US Next Month

Silky smooth British electro-pop geniuses Zero 7 will embark on their first Stateside tour in over a year on May 14 in Lousiville, KY. The group will be supporting their latest, critically acclaimed album, When It Falls, along the way, playing 17 dates total, including back to back nights at Irving Plaza in NYC and two nights at The John Anson Ford Theater in LA. The last time the band played a US gig was back on November 23, 2002 at the KCRW "Sounds Eclectic" show alongside Beck, Aimee Mann, Norah Jones, Beth Orton and Kinky. That show wrapped up the band's first run of US dates, a tour that I had the pleasure of seeing at the Double Door in Chicago. This time around, the band will play larger venues and new songs, but the same incredible cast of characters will be present. Joining Zero 7 principals Henry Binns and Sam Hardaker will be the amazing voices of Sia Furler, Mozez, Sophie Barker and newcomer Tina Dico.
