The Cure Announce Album Title, Street Date For New Record

Details are finally available on the new album from The Cure. the Goth godfathers, who will be playing the scorching Coachella Festival this weekend, will release their first album in four years this June. The self titled album, produced by I Am Recordingsí Ross Robinson, is the bandís first since 2000ís Bloodflowers and will hit shelves on June 29 via I Am/Geffen. Tracks expected to make the cut include ìLost,î ìTaking Off,î ìThe Promise,î and ìTruth Goodness and Beauty.î The summer will be busy for the boys, too, as they have the Curefest on tap. Theyíll even be on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno this evening. Hereís to a great show in the desert and to hoping all their Goth fans donít explode in the heat like hot dogs in a microwave.
