Decemberists Get Into The Van For You, Their Fans





When youíre an up and coming indie band, there is nothing more important than touring. Get in the bus, get out there, and spread the gospel about your music. Just ask The Decemberists. The Portland troupe, who obviously like to keep busy as is evidenced by the fact that they released two albums in 2003 and have already followed that up with an EP in 2004, will kick off a month-long jaunt in their hometown on May 27. Theyíll also make a stop at the Sasquatch Festival two days later, before heading off across the country, bouncing off the East Coast like it was a Pong paddle to return to the West Coast for their final dates, wrapping it all up with a pair of dates in San Francisco on June 27 and 28.
