Having literally just dropped their debut album, New York City's underground rock/dance/punk outfit The Fever have announced plans to take their potent live show on the road. A proper tour in support of the release Red Bedroom will kick off on June 17 in Cleveland, OH, but hometown fans will have a chance to catch the band before they leave town at a Bowery Ballroom show on Friday (May 21) with A.R.E. Weapons and Robbers On High Street. The Fever will be taking Death From Above, lablemates with The Streets and The Stills on Vice Records, along for the June tour. So be sure to get there early.
The Fever first made waves in the indie world in 2003 with the release of the Pink On Pink EP through Kemado Records, home to fellow New Yorkers Elefant and the label behind the release of Red Bedroom. You might also recognize the band's track "Ladyfingers" from the Yes New York compilation put out by Vice last year.
The Fever have also signed on to perform at the Siren Music Festival on Coney Island July 17. Check out the full tour itinerary below.
