Courtney Love Avoids Jail Time, Plans Tour

Yesterday (May 25), Courtney Love pled guilty to cocaine charges in Los Angeles Superior Court. Under the terms of a plea deal, Love will be spared any jail time and have the conviction removed from her record if she completes a drug treatment program. However, if Love fails to complete the program or violates the terms of her probation, a minimum of 90 days in jail will be mandatory. Prosecutors also dropped a charge of disorderly conduct as part of the bargain. Yesterday's case clears up some of Love's legal problems, but not all. She still needs to face trial for illegal possession of the painkiller OxyContin in LA and also for her microphone javelin toss in a NYC nightclub last March that sent a man to the hospital. The singer is taking it all in stride though and has already begun plotting a June tour of the US in support of her latest Virgin album America's Sweetheart.

Kicking off June 18 in New Haven, CT, the tour is currently scheduled through July 23 in Hollywood. However, Billboard says we should expect more dates to be added before all is said and done. See below to check out the routing thus far.
