In news that will fire up segments of the population in New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Boston, and Philadelphia, and will cause cretins to boil over in frothy rage, MTV Networks announced plans to launch a station specifically targeting a gay audience. The cable channel will be called LOGO and it will air programming for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender population, including movies, specials, documentaries and series programming, both new and available elsewhere. So whatís to be expected? Hours of Queer As Folk, Queer Eye For The Straight Guy, Siegfried & Roy specials and Perfect Strangers reruns? Thatís all to be determined, but look for the station to launch in February 2005.
