Manic Street Preachers Team Up With Tony Visconti On New Record

The Manic Street Preachers have completed the recording process of their new album and are progressing to the mixing stage. The album, currently working-titled both Life Blood and Goodbye Suicide, is the band's seventh studio effort and was produced by ex-David Bowie, T-Rex and Adam & The Ants knob-twister Tony Visconti and is now being mixed by Tom Elmhirst, who has worked in the past with Kylie Minogue and Goldfrapp, amongst others. Over 16 tracks have been recorded for inclusion, so itís just time to pare it down in time for the planned October release date.
