A.C. Newman Cuts Back On New Pornography For Summer Jaunt

New Pornographers man Carl Newman dropped a brilliant solo album last week under the A.C. Newman moniker and will now take his show on the road. The former Zumpano leader released The Slow Wonder on Matador and will kick off a tour in Seattle on July 6, traveling along the West Coast of America and Canada before heading deep into the Canadian wilderness (Saskatoon!) and then dropping back into the US to finish the tour up on August 21 in Denver. If solid indie pop albums are your thing, pick up the record and make live plans pronto.
