Beulah Calls It A Day

Bay Area indie poppers Beulah have sadly decided to call it a day. Although this isnít really news to anyone who follows the band, since the San Francisco posse had been leaking hints that this was in the works, itís still a sad state of affairs. The indie kids, who released four records, each in two-year intervals, 1997ís Handsome Western States, When Your Heartstrings Break in 1999, The Coast Is Never Clear, and 2003ís Yoko, will play one final gig in their hometown at The Fillmore on June 26 and will have a free NYC concert in Central Park on August 5 to wrap up their career, at least for now. No word as to plans for the members as of yet, but stay tuned and you may read about it.
