Beatles Treasure Trove Uncovered In Australia

UK native Fraser Claughton never thought his last-minute trip to Australia for a friend's 50th birthday party would change his life forever, but that's exactly what it did. While at an Australian flea market looking for some low-priced luggage, Claughton stumbled upon an incredible collection of Beatles memorabilia, some of which could turn out to be almost priceless. According to Billboard, the collection includes hundreds of photos taken of the Fab Four during the height of Beatlemania and a mountain of documentation related to their recordings (some of which has original signatures of group members). These alone are worth tens of thousands of dollars. However, he also found some studio tapes in sealed containers from the Abbey Road studios marked "not for use." The tapes have yet to be examined by experts, but if they turn out to be unheard recordings of the group, they would immediately be considered almost priceless. Almost, because Claughton will likely sell them to the highest bidder on the internet, which he is already planning to do with the rest of the goodies. Three cheers for eBay!
