The Stills, Broken Social Scene, Snow Patrol and a host of other independent acts have donated tracks to the soundtrack for the forthcoming film Wicker Park. The film, which hits theaters on September 3, stars Josh Hartnett and is described as "an intense psychological drama about a man caught in an obsessive search for a woman he fell deeply in love with - a woman who then vanished without a trace," according the film's website. The soundtrack will arrive in stores on August 24 via Lakeshore Records and includes additional tracks from The Shins, The Postal Service, Death Cab For Cutie, Mogwai, Mates Of State and Lifehouse, the latter of which who, according to Billboard, wrote the song "Everybody Is Somebody" specifically for the film.
