Hip-hop flower power legends De La Soul have found a new label home. After recording for their entire career on Tommy Boy, the NYC trio will release their next record for the Sanctuary Urban Records Group. In fact, that album is already in the can and ready to go. Entitled The Grind Date, the set features production from Madlib, Jay Dee, and Mike West and will hit shelves on September 28. It also contains many guest appearances, including work by Ghostface, Sean Paul, Common and even an album intro by Spike Lee, according to Billboard. A handful of dates are even planned for the fall, so if you have a De La jones, and you’re in LA, New Orleans, Atlanta, or Chicago, you’re in luck.
