The Strokes To Drop First Live Album This Fall

With a spring 2005 release date being eyed for their third full length, The Strokes had to come up with something to hold their fans over until then. So this fall, the band will release its first live album. According to Billboard, the songs will be pulled from a 2003 performance at London's Alexandria Palace which was originally taped by the BBC. Songs from both the band's sophomore album, Room On Fire, and their debut, Is This It?, will be included on the disc. If the quality of the recording is anywhere near as good as the version of "New York City Cops" from VICE's Yes New York compilation, this live record is going to be more than outstanding. We'll let you know when a release date, title, and tracklisting are revealed.
