The Tripwire Editor Bids A Fond Farewell

The time has come. Today’s my last day as editor of The Tripwire.com, as next week I start off on the next endeavor in my life, working radio promotion for Beggars Group and Matador Records, and leaving San Francisco for NYC. These past four years at Cornerstone Promotion and The Tripwire have been irreplaceable and I met many people through mutual musical tastes and common ground that I am proud to count as friends. But not to worry, The Tripwire will continue on strongly. If you want to send your records for possible review or have press releases or potential news items, reach out to Matt DuFour, and he will take good care of you, just as he will of the Tripwire. There just may be less coverage of Oasis, Coldplay, and all the other UK bands I beavis out about. And I may still lend a hand here and there, or else how else will people find out about the next big thing from the UK? Feel free to reach out to me at jeremy@popscene-sf.com or jeremypgoldstein@beggars.com when that address goes live Monday. Thanks for keeping the Trip vital and lively by updating your picks and keeping us on our toes. We greatly value your continued input. Take care.
