Screaming Trees Best Of Gathers Songs From '89-'96

Seattle's Screaming Trees will have the latter part of their recorded output sifted through and re-released as a sort of "best of" compilation on November 9 though Epic/Legacy. Called Ocean Of Confusion: Songs Of Screaming Trees 1989-1996, the 20-track CD pulls its material from the Trees' last three albums, 1991's Uncle Anesthesia, 1993's Sweet Oblivion and 1996's Dust, all recorded for Epic. According to Billboard, the release will also include two previously unreleased tracks, "Paperback Bible" and "Watch Pocket Blues," both of which were recorded between the band's final two albums but never ended up seeing the light of day.
