Interpol To Take Antics On The Road This Fall

Interpol's highly-anticipated and long-awaited new album, Antics, will finally hit shelves on September 28 through Matador. To celebrate, the members of Interpol will take to the road for a headlining tour de force, tackling mostly major markets along the way. So if you didn't feel like driving three hours to sit in the grass and drink eight dollar beer in the blistering summer heat at Curiosa, you're in luck! Beginning October 11 in Boston, fans will have the opportunity to see Interpol in their natural habitat - the dark and cavernous music hall.

The Secret Machines will be onboard for the entire 24-date road trip, with On! Air! Library! joining forces on November 1 in Dallas to finish out the tour run. A third opening act has yet to be announced for the first half of the tour.

According to Rolling Stone, Interpol also has some TV appearances lined up. The first is a performance on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno on October 1 and the second will be a stop by Jimmy Kimmel Live on October 26.
