Blues Explosion Ready To Do Damage On North American Tour

What happened to Jon Spencer? Did he get into a horrific career-ending dog walking accident? Did the other members of the band tell him to f-off because they never liked him anyway? If you've been asking these very questions upon hearing about the new Blues Explosion album, you need to chill out man. Spencer is still in the band, they just decided it was time for a change. The band will release their new album, Damage, on September 28 through Sanctuary. As previously reported, it features production assistance from the likes of DJ Shadow and Dan The Automator, as well as Plastic Fang helmsmen Steve Jordan and Alan Moulder. Some killer guest appearances are in store as well, including James Chance, Martina Topley Bird and Chuck D.

In early November, the band will hit the road in support of Damage, playing mostly primary markets. Check out the full itinerary below.
