Foot Injury Puts The Brakes On Fall Motorhead Tour

Motorhead are pulling the plug on their forthcoming US tour, which was scheduled to kick off this month and run through October. The excuse for the cancellation comes in the form of a doctor's note. Apparently, frontman Lemmy injured his foot on stage last month while touring Europe and, against doctor's orders, completed the few remaining shows on the band's itinerary. Upon his return to the US, his physician insisted that Lemmy remain off of his foot for several weeks in order to let it heal properly. The cancelled dates will made up in March 2005. Until then, you can rock out to their latest album, Inferno.
