Massive Attack Score Jet Li Movie

Trip-hop pioneers Massive Attack have completed work on the soundtrack for a new Jet Li movie,Danny The Dog, by acclaimed French director Luc Besson (Nikita, Leon and The Fifth Element) reports XFM. Massive Attack, who were approached personally by Besson, recorded the soundtrack over eleven weeks with the band completing an instrumental score of 21 pieces of music. Each piece will run in chronological order throughout the film depicting a certain scene. The movie is a martial arts thriller also starring Bob Hoskins and Morgan Freeman.

Danny The Dog will be released on October 11 in the UK and the full tracklisting is:

Continuing the creativity, the duo of Robert ‘3D’ del Naja and Grant 'Daddy G' Marshall have reportedly returned to the studio to record the follow up to last year’s album 100th Window which is due for release in Spring 2005.
