No, this isn't yet another pro-Kerry political action website or Bush-bashing compilation CD. MustVote actually doesn't really care who you vote for, as long as you vote for someone (though they'd probably prefer Kerry). MustVote is a new website launched with the hope of registering 100,000 new voters by election day. How do they plan to do that, you ask? Good question. The process is simple. Artists like The Von Bondies, Pearl Jam, The Sun, Auf Der Maur, The Fever, Radio 4 and more have donated songs to the site, which in turn, uses those tracks as rewards for for those who can convince eligible, non-registered voters to register. So, get family members, friends, people at work or school, or anyone else for that matter, to register to vote and you'll get a free music download for every single new voter registrant. Get it?
What makes this site even more unique is that it doesn't limit participation to those of voting age. In fact, MustVote hopes to get teens 17 and younger involved and excited about the political process by giving them what they want, free tunes. Learn more here.
