Former Mercury Music Prize winner Ms Dynamite, whose real name is Niomi McLean-Daley, has been arrested over allegations of assault at a London restaurant. The incident happened over two weeks ago on September 17, but she has been released on bail after reporting to police last week, according to the BBC. "A 23-year-old woman voluntarily attended a central London police station on October 1 following an allegation of assault on September 17 at premises in Wardour Street," a spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Police told Reuters. "The woman was arrested and has been bailed to reappear at a central London police station at a date in November."
Ms Dynamite won the UK Mercury Music Prize two years ago for her debut album A Little Deeper.
