Dios Malos Spend October On The Road

California rockers formerly known as Dios (see: cease and desist courtesy of guitarist Ronnie James Dio) have left the friendly confines of their home state to deliver a blend of dreamy compositions and basement grit to an intimate venue near you. After a recent string of dates at various California locales, the freshly renamed Dios Malos has begun a Midwest stretch and will work their way east to perform at New York's CMJ Festival on October 14th at SOB's.  A month on the road will return them home for an October 29th date at Pomona, CA's Glass House.

Natives of Hawthorne, CA, birth place of The Beach Boys and Black Flag, Dios Malos will forever encounter comparisons to their neighborhood predecessors.  While the similarities in truth are few and far between, their lingering melodies and developed basement arrangements could make even Brian Wilson proud.  Throw in slacker philosophy lyrics and you have Hawthorne's latest offering, Dios Malos and their recent StarTime Records self-titled release (cover your ears, Ronnie), Dios.
