Snow Patrol Captures Sold Out London Gig For DVD

Breakout UK rock troop Snow Patrol will be releasing a pair of new offerings just in time for the holiday season, November 23 to be exact. The first, and perhaps most exciting, is the 15-track DVD Live 2004: Mums And Dads Of The World Be Patient With Your Children. The DVD captures a sold-out August show at London's Somerset House and features fan favorites "Run" and "Chocolate", as well as more obscure tracks like the B-Side "Post Punk Progression".

In addition to live performance footage, the DVD includes the videos for "Spitting Games", "Run", "Chocolate" and "How To Be Dead". Of course, some "behind the scenes" footage will be included as well. I caught the band on an episode of Subterranean on MTV2 and they were pretty damn funny, so the behind the scenes stuff might actually be worth watching.

The second in-time-for-the-holidays release from Snow Patrol is a reissue of their breakout album Final Straw in DualDisc format. According to Billbaord, the full album will be included on one side of the disc and a DVD with three videos, the band's performance and interview on Sessions@AOL, and a 5.1 surround sound mix of the album will be included on the other.
