The Arcade Fire Burn Up The Road

"All right, we’re the flavor of the month. Let’s go," Win Butler, lead singer of The Arcade Fire at CMJ last week. The ubiquitous [see any CMJ wrap-up, Pitchfork, NY Times, Hits!] buzz on this Montreal band is growing at a rate so fast you may not be able to find their records, a problem Merge ran into when the first pressing of Funeral instantly sold out, but you can see them in all their glory on the road. A six man, motorcycle helmet wearing mini-orchestra playing 18 instruments, as well as themselves, must not be missed.
