Dogs Die In Hot Cars On American Soil Next Month

Another band from Glasgow? Yes, it's true. After successful European and Australian tours and a good run at specialty radio in the States, Glasgow's Dogs Die In Hot Cars are gearing up for a big month in North America. On October 26, the band will release their V2 Records debut, Please Describe Yourself, in the US (it was released in the UK earlier this summer). That release will be followed up with a two-week string of live dates beginning November 10 at the Troubadour in Los Angeles. The trek will take DDIHC through 10 major markets on both coasts, the Midwest and Southern states before wrapping up in Toronto on the 24th.

Dogs Die In Hot Cars reached #5 on the Tripwire Top 30 in mid-August on the strength of their catchy first single "I Love You 'Cause I Have To". For those that have yet to hear the music, it's been described as XTC-meets-Dexy's Midnight Runners. Check out the full tour schedule below.
