Nirvana's Rare "In Bloom" Appears On-line

Everybody is putting the long-awaited 81-track Nirvana boxset With the Lights Out on their "wish list" this holiday. Given. Just to whet the appetite, Geffen has made a rare-ish 1990 version on "In Bloom" available for your on-line viewing enjoyment. It was originally released on a Sub Pop compilation called Video Network, Vol. 1 which is hard to come by. Though the song eventually get a redeux spoofing a 60's style Ed Sullivan show, [who could forget the 'Nir-VAN- a' intro or the girl in the crowd with the big chompers] this video finds the band in pre-fame mode, roadie-ing their own shows. Check it out here.

For more information on the boxset, read Matt DuFour's write up here.
