U2 Revs Up For TV Onslaught

Just in case you weren't sick of seeing the U2 iPod commercial yet, the band is drawing up plans for a well-coordinated media blitz leading up to the release of their new album, How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb, on November 23. According to Billboard, Bono and co. are slated to perform on Saturday Night Live on November 20, the weekend before their new album drops. That show looks like it's shaping up to be one of the best of the season and might actually be worth staying in on Saturday to watch, as Luke Wilson will be hosting.

U2's assault on the American psyche will continue when the album cut "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own" (hmmm, what do you think that song's about?) is heard on Fox's The O.C. on December 2. In addition, though it hasn't been confirmed, new U2 songs are expected to find their way onto at least two episodes of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in the near future as well. Something tells me that's not the end of it either. We'll keep you posted.
