Thom Yorke Becomes Human Candy Bar For OXFAM

Recipe for a protest:
One gallon chocolate syrup
One freshly scrubbed British rock star

Thom Yorke is no stranger to politics and human rights. His latest involves a new campaign for OXFAM for their ongoing Make Trade Fair campaign. According to NME, Yorke is pictured covered in chocolate for a new series titled “Ever Felt Dumped On?” Yorke said: “How sweet does your chocolate taste when you know the producer in a country you will never see did not even get paid enough to feed his family? How sweet does it taste when you see the amount of profit a few multinational corporations make on it? How delicious is it to know that sweet taste in your mouth is one of slavery, a nice new economic model?”

Other celebrities in the campaign include Chris Martin covered in rice, Colin Firth doused in coffee, Michael Stipe drenched in milk, and Antonio Banderas showered in corn. Now I feel guilty for practically every food I enjoyed over the Thanksgiving holiday. To see the pictures for yourself, head over to the official Make Trade Fair website.
