Wilco Reveal 2005 Tour Schedule

Chicago's resident rock geniuses, Wilco, have begun to lay out some tour plans for early 2005. The constantly-touring, ever-evolving, Jeff Tweedy-led outfit will begin the next chapter in their rock & roll journey on February 8 in Champaign, IL, home of the #1 ranked men's Fighting Illini basketball team. From there, the group will hit cities across the Midwest and East Coast, eventually wrapping things up at the House Of Blues in Cleveland, OH.

Prior to their '05 tour jaunt however, Wilco will be teaming up with The Flaming Lips and Sleater-Kinney to give New Yorkers one of the most memorable New Years Eve celebrations of their incredibly busy and stressful lives when they descend upon Madison Square Garden on December 31.

In other Wilco news, their 2001 masterpiece of an album Yankee Hotel Foxtrot has officially been certified Gold by the RIAA. They have even been nominated for a pair of Grammys - one for Best Alternative Music Album and a second for the oh-so-highly-coveted Best Recording Package.
