Razorlight Question Future Album Releases

Playing those NYC/LA showcases and being wined and dined by the suits has taken its toll on Razorlight. We hear through our friends at DrownedInSound that Leif Garrett-meets-Jani Lane frontperson Johnny Borrell has stated that the band might not make another album to follow up Up All Night. Unsatisfied with the conventional album-tour-album-tour way of promotion and marketing, Borrell is looking into alternative ways of getting his music to the people, such as downloadable releases and EPs. Looks like someone got into Johnny's head that he's the star, why should all these people be making money off of his genius? Typical megalomania. Good luck to him, though. It would be interesting to see if a UK artist can brave the 42K bandwidth at internet cafes like EasyEverything™ mentality of the Brits to harness the real power of the interweb to promote your band and bypass the archaic contracts labels indenture their artists with. The band have been writing new songs and recorded a track called "Kirby's Dream" that Borrell says "sounds like a George Harrison song". Whether this comes out or not, or is released as a download-only remains to be seen. I can see Johnny now, with his HTML For Dummies book out....
